Global Premier Soccer Masschusetts Donates Soccer Balls to Italian Home for Children


On Feb. 21, Global Premier Soccer – Massachusetts traveled to Italian Home for Children located in Jamaica Plain, Boston, to donate soccer balls to the children to use on the organization’s soccer field. Established in 1918, during the first fifty years, Franciscan sisters devoted their lives to raising and teaching thousands of children at the Home. As decades passed, the needs of the children arriving at the Home began to reflect more complex crises. Supporting Italian Home for Children at 2012 Rodman Ride for Kids


The Italian Home for Children — one of Boston’s most enduring testaments to Italians’ spirit of giving and caring — will be represented with a team of six riders at this year’s “Rodman Ride for Kids,” an umbrella matching gift charity raising funds for youth focused social-service agencies that support at-risk children in Massachusetts. The annual 25, 50, and 100-mile noncompetitive cycling tour has raised $61 million since 1991.
