PIB and Italian Consulate to Host Sailing Championship


Beginning on June 27, Professionisti Italiani a Boston will host two Italian students from the nonprofit sailing school “Scuola Vela Mascalzone Latino;” the teenagers will visit Boston, discuss motivational personal stories with local Italian professionals, and compete against young sailors from renowned Boston sailing clubs. On July 2, PIB and the Consul General of Italy in Boston, Mr. Nicola De Santis, will award the Neapolitan sailing team during the final reception. Three regattas will take place on Tuesday, June 28 at the Courageous Sailing Center; Thursday, June 30 at the MIT Sailing Center, and Friday, July 1st at Community Boating. PIB and Dante Alighieri host North End documentary screening

Neapolitan Youth Takes Part in Second Annual PIB Sailing Contest

For the second year in a row, Professionisti Italiani a Boston has partnered with Italian sailing powerhouse Mascalzone Latino to give teenagers from underprivileged neighborhoods in Naples the chance to sail on the Charles River.
